ROLE IN BRIDGE-AI
UPM will be responsible for fine tuning generative AI models tailored to the use cases identified within the Bridge-AI, as well as for developing agentic systems orchestrated through the EURO-RAG framework to optimise and enhance agricultural production across Africa.
UPM will also contribute scientific advances that bring European expertise and technologies in generative AI closer to the African context, ensuring their secure and efficient integration. In addition, it will play a key role in capacity building by providing training on these technologies and tools, helping to ensure their successful adoption, long term sustainability, and wider deployment across Africa beyond the duration of the Bridge-AI project.
